So I guess the first thing we should talk about is what is a landing page. A landing page , also know as a lead capture page or squeeze page is were a marketer sends it’s traffic too so they can start collect leads for there online business. More experienced marketers typically know what a landing page is. However it’s another story when it comes to new marketers just starting a business online.
I get approached all the time by new marketers starting out asking me what they need to do to make there business work online. The first thing I ask them is what business there promoting and to see the web site. And 98% or so of the time they send me some hangout page or sales page. Then I ask were is your landing page? They typically respond by saying, what’s that? This is the point that I know there a new marketer and obviously who ever brought them into the business never gave them guidance.
So let’s get back to talking about the landing page. The main purpose of this page is to collect leads after you send traffic to it so a marketer can start building a list. The capture page is made up of c catchy headline and maybe a sub headline. It may possible contain a video and maybe some additional text. This is considered the from door of your business. It’s primary function is to sort the serious prospects from the curios one’s for you. The serious prospects are the one’s that will enter there info to learn more about your product or service.
Here’s what a Capture Page typically looks like.
Above I mentioned something called The List. A list is simply the data that your lead capture page collects and stored into a autoresponder were they are followed up with by email messages to build a relationship and expose your product and service to over and over again. This is important to have because it takes at least 7 to 10 follow up messages to go out to your leads before they even know your alive. And most Sales will come from your follow message sequence. There are many autoresponers out there. I prefer Aweber or Getresponse myself.

2) Collect Only a Email address.
3) No Video’s
4) Use Only Text
Also it’s always a good idea that your Headline is relevant to any advertising your doing so the whole experience makes sense to your prospect when they come upon your landing page while driving traffic.
