I think it is fair to suggest that we all have at least one bad habit that we know we should change. Bad habits can be things we find troublesome and don’t want to talk about. Bad habits can make us feel trapped, hopeless, not in control.
When we commit to making changes and we commit to improving our lives what we really need is a vision. We need a vision of what our lives are going to look like when those changes have been made. This is true for anything significant in your life: relationships, health, business, career, family. You name it. If you want to accomplish anything in any area of your life, you need a vision.
So, your brain has a lizard in it. But your brain already knew that. Maybe you suspected it. Maybe you didn’t. Here’s where it gets really interesting: the lizard is never, ever going to go away. And it doesn’t like you knowing it, either.
