If you want to know how to get leads and how it all works then keep reading!
This is something I learned in the past and I never completely shared all of it in one standing but what I am about to share with you is hopefully going to help you with whatever your doing whether it’s a home business or a small business it doesn’t matter.
So, what is the first thing you need to do? Get traffic and then that takes you to getting leads, right?
So what kinds of traffic are there and where do we get traffic? Let me first show you the different kinds of traffic.
First you have cold traffic which means they got to your lead capture page without getting any referrals which means they got there through some kind of ad, solo ad, facebook ad…etc. These people just don’t know you yet!
Second you have warm traffic which is a partner driven traffic. Someone trusted has said ” you got to check this out dude/gal”.
Another words someone referred these people to a site! A really good way to do that is to give really great value on something that will help people with their business…this is how we set up our lead capture pages because we want to share something that will help them in the long run and exchange that for their email address.
The third is called hot traffic and this is someone who has bought from you and has interacted with you on your blog, video…etc.
Now that you understand the different types of traffic let’s go into more detail on what you need to do if your new at this then I’ll go into more detail on lead capture pages.
So first, where do we get traffic? Well there is two methods of traffic…the first is free and the second is paid traffic/marketing.
With free marketing there is social media (like facebook, twitter…etc), blogging, article writing, creating content whether it’s a blog, audio or video and sharing it on social media and more. I could go into more detail but I’ll create another blog specifically on this…so look out for it! :)
The second one is paid marketing/traffic which you can get from many sources like facebook ads, ppc, youtube ads, solo ads and more! I might make a more in depth blog on paid traffic another day but just make sure you don’t go overboard on doing paid advertising and learn all you can on whatever specific paid marketing/traffic strategy you do.
Too many people spend all their money on paid traffic thinking oh this is going to set me up and I am going to be honest here that’s not the way it is. You will have a learning curve and it’s like the saying “don’t put all your eggs in one basket”.
The next thing you need to do well actually it’s really the first thing you need to do lol but anyway you need to have lead capture page(s). One thing you need to understand that there is different kinds of capture pages for different kinds of traffic. There are capture pages for warm, hot and cold traffic.
The lead capture page that has more info but not too much info is for cold traffic. For warm traffic just keep it simple and make sure you make it compatible (somewhat alike what you showed them…it goes with it) with however you contact with them whether it’s video, blogging, email, etc.
