“… BEHOLD, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

In our Sunday school class at Old Fashion United Baptist Church here in Sidney Ohio we have been studying the Book of Revelation.

The study began on the subject of rightly dividing the Bible but when we got to the Kingdom dispensation it took us to The Revelation.

I don’t know how much you know about The Revelation but it is filled with things that will occur in the last days of civilization as we know it.

The church, which consists of those who have believed on Jesus Christ as their Savior, isn’t mentioned after chapter 3 meaning we are resurrected (raptured or taken out) soon after that time.

The remaining people on the earth must suffer the torments and troubles of the tribulation period which is referenced as the time of Jacob’s trouble and is recorded as the dealings of God with Israel as His chosen people and the world full of ungodly mankind.

Although there will be an innumerable multitude redeemed through being martyred for their testimony, refusing to submit to Satan and his system or will be of the 144,000 virgin men of Israel sealed by the angels, most people will accept the ways of Satan and the mark of the Beast.

Revelation speaks of many plagues and terrible occurrences that will fall on mankind in those days yet they will refuse to repent of their sins and continue to curse God.

These plagues will occur on the entire earth and include the water being turned to blood, the sun and moon being darkened for a third of the day and night, people being tormented by locusts for five months and not being able to die, these are examples of only a few of them.

Those of us who are saved or bought by Jesus through the blood He shed on Calvary should be thankful we won’t go through these things and it should stir each of us to realize the importance of warning others of the wrath to come.

That is why I’m writing this, I don’t want anyone to go into that everlasting fire that was prepared for the Devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41

Please, realize you have no hope of escaping the wrath and eternal punishment that is coming if you don’t understand your condition and believe Jesus died to pay the price for your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3-5

Don’t die without knowing Jesus as your savior.

If you don’t accept His gift of payment for your sins with His blood, YOU MUST PAY IT YOURSELF!

“… BEHOLD, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.” 2 Corinthians 6:2
