May I share a discovery I have made with you?
You may already have realized this and hopefully you have but for some reason I hadn’t.
Often in business, writing and other realms of life we are instructed to speak to a specific group of people.
This is so our message and the information we are sharing will be valuable and interesting to them.
We need not limit ourselves to only one “type “of person because
each of us have multiple areas of our lives which are a part of who we are.
For example our age group, our work or military experience, our beliefs and things that are important to us, even our family situation; weather we have children or grandchildren and many other things we may have in common with others can be our audience or avatar.
We can speak to each of these groups at different times depending on the message we wish to share.
When I would hear these things statements spoken of I began trying to write these groups through me content and it caused me run into difficulties in writing what I wished to convey.
I would begin writing and become weighed down trying to stay in the mindset of the group characteristic and stop writing completely.
I became discouraged and stopped trying because it was almost impossible.
Then came my BIG discovery!
The audience and avatar I was trying to connect with was not for regular writing but for those I have something of special interest for, like my business products or opportunity.
Yes, some of the things I write are especially for a certain group but most is for anyone’s information.
If it doesn’t appeal to one group maybe the next article will.
Don’t get bogged down in trying to be too specific who you are talking to in your content creation and blogging.
We all have multiple facets of life occurrences and we can share those with everyone.
